This is the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) mandated Cultural Diversity #3939 online training course for Texas Peace Officers, Jailers, and Telecommunicators.

The demographic makeup of our United States society has changed dramatically during our more than 230 year history, and is continuing to do so. Living and working in our society asks each of us to become increasingly aware of the challenges involved in this cultural evolution. The changes our society is experiencing go beyond the diversities of race and gender. Within each culture lies a multitude of diverse backgrounds and perspectives. These diversities, or dimensions, are multifaceted, and are a direct result of an individual’s experiences associated with many factors, to include: generational eras, social contacts, families and friendships, and the work environment.


Please note, the entire course, final exam(s), and course evaluation(s) must be completed in order to receive eight (8) hours of course credit.

TCOLE Reporting

OSS Academy® typically reports 4 to 5 times each week [excluding U.S. Federal holidays]. We report your credit directly through TCLEDDS to the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement [TCOLE]. You should have already provided your full and correct name, TCOLE PID number, and other important information when registering for your account.
